What is Timothy Track?

Timothy Track at Midwestern is a ministry internship program where seminary students can gain practical ministry experience in a local church as they complete their studies at Midwestern Seminary. Calvary has provided internship opportunities to Midwestern students for over a decade, and we appreciate the opportunity to serve and be served by these students as they develop their understanding and skills for ministry in Christ's church.

Why Has Calvary Partnered with Timothy Track?

Calvary appreciates Midwestern's emphasis on training men and women for service in the local church. Our partner with Timothy Track is mutually beneficial in that students get hands-on experience in which they can apply what they are learning at Midwestern directly to the local church. Similarly, Calvary gains the benefit of being served by these students in music, discipleship, preaching, teaching, and planning for various ministries and events.

How Can I Support Timothy Track?

Members of Calvary can support Timothy Track most directly by taking time to develop a relationship with the ministry interns that Calvary sponsors. Though the Timothy Track internship is limited in duration, interns often remain at Calvary even after their internship has ended. Inviting interns to your home or sharing a meal with them is a great way to build this relationship. You can also regularly ask interns about their studies, what they are learning and how it applies to Calvary. Anything that deepens the relationships our interns have with our people is going to make our partnership with Timothy Track more successful.

In addition to spending time with the ministry interns and deepening your relationship with them, you can also support Timothy Track by making designated gifts to fund this partnership directly. Calvary supports Timothy Track by funding these interns, so the more money we raise for Timothy Track, the more interns we can support.
