GOD CALLS US TO WORSHIP HIM |

Bring forth the royal diadem
And crown Him Lord of all

Ye ransomed from the fall
Hail Him who saves you

By His grace

On this terrestrial ball

And crown Him Lord of all

O that with yonder sacred throng
We at His feet may fall
We'll join the everlasting song

GOD GRACIOUSLY RENEWS US IN CHRIST
Confession of Sin
Worship Leader: You are the people whom I formed for myself that might declare my praise.
Congregation: We did not call on you, but we have been weary of you.
Worship Leader: You have not brought me your offerings, or honored me with your sacrifices.
Congregation: We have not brought you gifts, or satisfied you with our sacrifices.
Worship Leader: You have burdened me with your sins; you have wearied me with your iniquities.
Congregation: Our first father sinned, and our mediators transgressed against you.
(Isaiah 43:21–27)
Forgiveness of Sin
Worship Leader: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ!
Congregation: According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Worship Leader: In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith-more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire-may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Congregation: Though you have not seen him, you love him.
All: Though you do not now see him, you believe in him and rejoice with joy that is inexpressible and filled with glory. (1 Peter 1:3–8)
“In Christ Alone” | Hymn of Assurance
Verse 1:
In Christ alone my hope is found
He is my light my strength my song
This Cornerstone this solid Ground
Firm thro’ the fiercest
Drought and storm
What heights of love
What depths of peace
When fears are stilled
When strivings cease
My Comforter my All in All
Here in the love of Christ I stand
Verse 2:
In Christ alone who took on flesh
Fullness of God in helpless babe
This gift of love and righteousness
Scorn’d by the ones he came to save
Till on that cross as Jesus died
The wrath of God was satisfied
For every sin on Him was laid
Here in the death of Christ I live
Verse 3:
There in the ground His body lay
Light of the world by darkness slain
Then bursting forth in glorious day
Up from the grave He rose again
And as He stands in victory
Sin's curse has lost its grip on me
For I am His and He is mine
Bo’t with th’precious blood of Christ
Verse 4:
No guilt in life no fear in death
This is the power of Christ in me
From life's first cry to final breath
Jesus commands my destiny
No power of hell no scheme of man
Can ever pluck me from His hand
Till He returns or calls me home
Here in the pow’r of Christ I'll stand
Thanking God for What He Has Done
“Doxology”
Verse:
O risen Christ ascended Lord
All praise to Thee let earth accord
Who art, while endless ages run,
With Father, and the Spirit one.
Giving Our Tithes and Offerings
Consider praying for and giving to the efforts of the North American Mission Board as they seek to reach the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ here in America. Throughout the month of April, we will be collecting contributions for the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering, which helps to fund the efforts of NAMB. You can use the Annie Armstrong offering envelopes located on the table in front of the bulletin board in the foyer for any funds you’d like to designate to this cause. Checks can be made out to Calvary with “Annie” in the memo line. You can learn more about the North American Mission Board at namb.net and the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering at www.anniearmstrong.com.
“Because He Lives” | Easter Hymn
Verse 1:
I believe in the Son
I believe in the Risen One
I believe I overcome
By the power of His blood

Amen amen
I'm alive I'm alive
Because He lives
Amen amen
Let my song join the one
That never ends
Because He lives
Verse 2:
I was dead in the grave
I was covered in sin and shame
I heard mercy call my name
He rolled the stone away
Bridge:
Because He lives
I can face tomorrow
Because He lives
Ev'ry fear is gone
I know He holds my life
My future in His hand
GOD INSTRUCTS US THROUGH HIS WORD
Scripture Reading
"When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they could go and anoint him. Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they went to the tomb at sunrise. They were saying to one another, “Who will roll away the stone from the entrance to the tomb for us?” Looking up, they noticed that the stone—which was very large—had been rolled away. When they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side; they were alarmed. “Don’t be alarmed,” he told them. “You are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they put him. But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you to Galilee; you will see him there just as he told you.’ ” They went out and ran from the tomb, because trembling and astonishment overwhelmed them. And they said nothing to anyone, since they were afraid." Mark 16:1–8 (CSB)

GOD FEEDS US THROUGH HIS SUPPER
“Jesus Paid It All” | Communion Hymn
Verse 1:
And I hear the Savior say
Thy strength indeed is small
Child of weakness watch and pray
Find in Me thine all in all
Chorus:
'Cause Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin had left a crimson stain
He washed it white as snow
Verse 2:
Lord now indeed I find
Thy pow'r and Thine alone
Can change the leper's spots
And melt the heart of stone
Verse 3:
And when before the throne
I stand in Him complete
Jesus died my soul to save
My lips shall still repeat
Bridge:
Oh praise the One
Who paid my debt
And raised this life up
From the dead
GOD BLESSES US AND SENDS US OUT
