God Calls Us to Worship Him
Call to Worship
Congregation: Our Father who is in heaven, let Your name be holy, let Your kingdom come, let Your will be done on earth just as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Yours is the honor, and the power, and the glory forever.

God Graciously Renews Us in Christ
Confession of Sin
Worship Leader: Do not withhold your mercy from us, O Lord; may your love and your truth always protect us. Congregation: For troubles without number surround us; our sins have overtaken us, and we cannot see. Worship Leader: They are more than the hairs of our head, and our heart fails within us. Congregation: Be pleased, O Lord, to save us. All: O Lord, come quickly and help us. (Psalm 40:11-13)
Forgiveness of Sin through Christ
Worship Leader: O God of my own exodus, Jesus strides forth as the victor, conqueror of death,hell, and all opposing might; he bursts the bands of death,tramples the powers of darkness down, and lives forever.. He, my gracious surety, apprehended for payment of my debt, comes forth from the prison house of the grave free, and triumphant over sin, Satan, and death. Give me the assurance that in Christ I died, in him I rose, in his life I live, in his victory I triumph, in his ascension I shall be glorified.(“Resurrection” from The Valley of Vision)
Easter Hymn: "And Can It Be?"
No condemnation now I dread
Jesus and all in Him is mine
Alive in Him my living Head
And clothed in righteousness divine
Bold I approach the eternal throne
And claim the crown through Christ my own
Amazing love! How can it be
That thou my Savior shouldst die for me?
Thanking God for What He Has Done
Worship Leader: “You have turned our mourning into dancing; you have loosed our sackcloth and clothed us with gladness, that our glory may sing your praise and not be silent. O Lord our God, we will give thanks to you forever!” (Psalm 30:11-12)
Giving Our Tithes and Offerings
We demonstrate our thanksgiving in the gospel through when we give to the annual Annie Armstrong Easter Offering (named after missionary Annie Armstrong) for North American missions. The monies collected for Annie Armstrong Easter Offering goes to: Start new churches; engage in student evangelism on college campuses; serve the physical and spiritual needs of people through inner-city Baptist centers; serve in local Baptist associations as church planting catalysts; provide training and ministry in apologetics (interfaith witness) evangelism; minister in resort settings such as campgrounds and ski areas. Please prayerfully consider in addition to your offering to Calvary giving to this worthy ministry. This special offering will be collected through the month of April.
Hymn of Thanksgiving: "Offering"
The sun cannot compare to the glory of Your love There is no shadow in Your presence No mortal man would dare to stand before Your throne Before the Holy One of heaven It's only by Your blood And it's only through Your mercy

God Instructs Us through His Word
Scripture Reading: Psalm 46
To the choirmaster. Of the Sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A Song.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear though the earth gives way,
though the mountains be moved into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam,
though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy habitation of the Most High.
God is in the midst of her;
she shall not be moved;
God will help her when morning dawns.
The nations rage,
the kingdoms totter;
he utters his voice,
the earth melts.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
Come, behold the works of the Lord,
how he has brought desolations on the earth.
He makes wars cease to the end of the earth;
he breaks the bow and shatters the spear;
he burns the chariots with fire.
“Be still, and know that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!”
The Lord of hosts is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress. Selah
God Nourishes and Feeds Us through His Supper
Having, as we trust, been brought by Divine Grace to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and to give up ourselves to Him,and having been baptized upon our profession of faith, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, we do now, relying on His gracious aid,solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with each other.We will work and pray for the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. We will be slow to take offense and quick to reconcile. We will avoid gossip, false accusations and divisive words, knowing that they are destructive to Christian fellowship.We will walk together in brotherly love, as become the members of a Christian church; exercise an affectionate care and watchfulness over each other and faithfully admonish and entreat one another as occasion may require.We will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together by worshipping with one another regularly, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and others.We will endeavor to bring up such as may at any time be under our care, in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, and by a pure and loving example to seek the salvation of our family and friends.
We will rejoice at each other’s happiness and endeavor with tenderness and sympathy to bear each other’s burdens and sorrows. We will seek, by Divine aid, to live carefully in the world, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, and remembering that, as we have been voluntarily buried by baptism and raised again from the symbolic grave, so there is on us a special obligation now to lead a new and holy life. We will work together for the continuance of a faithful evangelical ministry in this church, as we sustain its worship, ordinances, discipline, and doctrines. We will contribute cheerfully, generously and regularly to the support of the ministry, the expenses of the church, the relief of the poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations. We will, when we move from this place, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the principles of God’s Word. May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all. Amen.
God Blesses Us and Sends Us Out
Glory be to the Father And to the Son And to the Holy Ghost As it was in the beginning Is now and ever shall be World without end Amen Amen
