The greatest news in the world is that Jesus Christ, God’s Son, came to earth, died on the cross for our sins, and rose from the dead. He died on the cross as a substitute. We should have been punished for our sins, but He voluntarily took our place. His death provides forgiveness of sins once and for all and a right relationship with God (2 Corinthians 5.21).  Jesus rose from the dead, proving that He is Lord and God.  Jesus took on death for us and demands our allegiance as Lord.  He ascended back into heaven and sits there now to judge the world one day. 

 

Because Jesus paid the price for our sin, we cannot do anything to earn God’s favor.  We must believe that He is the only sufficient person to save sinners (John 14.6; Acts 16.30).  Will you believe in Jesus?
